Hi Marko,
I use gnome terminal, with a start script like:
gnome-terminal --tab -t "R1" -e "telnet localhost 2001" --tab -t "R2"
-e "telnet localhost 2002" --tab -t "R3" -e "telnet localhost 2003"
...and so on
sometimes it's slow a little starting telnet sessions, but it works.
