hi group...

below is the modification to make it more interesting :-) the conversation
between his wife and a CCIE-TO-BE..... enjoy.... cheers....

Loneliness, boring hours and silence is for me,
meet me i'm the wife of a CCIE-to-be,

i have to practice for long hours in silence for wot i want to be
let me be alone and study my dear, i m a CCIE-to-be

Nothing to do but to read the stories of wizards and witches,
while my husband stare at his routers and switches,

nothing to do but read the books of routers and switches
i see those commands in dreams not some ghosts or witches

My days have become long and drab,
only because he has to give his lab,

my days and nights are too short to grab
cos i need to practice practice n practice for my lab

To him i wouldn't look so dull and drony,
If only he'd leave alone his IP Telephony,

i know dear, u dont look so corny
but i swear, u aint as beautiful as IP Telephony

For me,no outing no romance no disco,
ah! how i hate this word "CISCO",

long lifes ahead for outing, romance n disco
god! only thing can save me now is CISCO

We could better discuss and plan OUR future,
but no! he's more interested in MPLS architecture,

our future is dependent on my success, oh my dear
live in the present, and let me understand MPLS architecture

I love him with all my heart and body and soul,
but he has eyes only for the routing protocol,

thanks for loving me, u can keep my heart n soul
but pls let my body n brain work for routing protocol

I have to beg him to take me to a mall,
between him and me is always a "firewall",

pls go alone n pick some redbull for me from a mall
cos its not so easy to troubleshoot a firewall

My good old "cisco-free" days are lost in a mist,
I sure wish i could use his "access list",

ur old good "cisco-free" days are next on my list
but pls allow me to Succeed in lab from the access-list

My woes are as vast and as deep as a sea,
meet me im the wife of a CCIE-to-be......
my woes are also as deep as u but u can not see
cos govt. dont provide all the things u need for free
so, let me be alone and practice to succeed,
cos i m a CCIE-to-be......
