Not just a joke! I'm not sure where this wonderful phrase came from, but
it's certainly applicable in education, but hopefully not applicable to CCIE
level training. Ever taken classes run by groups like global knowledge?
(being unfair picking on them,
I know), or gone to a technical school? Well I have, and I've had many many
teachers with no technical background or expertise. They just figured
teaching the Cisco or Microsoft program was an easy way to make a buck. The
ability to run a classroom doesn't necessarily translate to being able to
successfully apply skills in the real world.
