Hi Expert,

I am doing IE expert practice labs with GNS3 & came across a problem in
configuring fail over between a frame relay connections & a point to point
serial connections. Then I found out that even though I shut down the main
frame relay interface of a one router at the other end PVC status remain
active configuration of two routers are as follows,

Router 4 - Spoke router with PTP sub interface

Rack1R4#sh run int s0/0.1
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 115 bytes
!
interface Serial0/0.1 point-to-point
 ip address 155.1.0.4 255.255.255.0
 frame-relay interface-dlci 405
end

Rack1R4#sh run int s0/0
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 139 bytes
!
interface Serial0/0
 no ip address
 encapsulation frame-relay
 clock rate 2000000
 cdp enable
 no frame-relay inverse-arp
end

Router 5 - Hub router

Rack1R5#sh run int s0/0
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 286 bytes
!
interface Serial0/0
 ip address 155.1.0.5 255.255.255.0
 encapsulation frame-relay
 clock rate 2000000
 cdp enable
 frame-relay map ip 155.1.0.1 501
 frame-relay map ip 155.1.0.2 502
 frame-relay map ip 155.1.0.3 503
 frame-relay map ip 155.1.0.4 504
 no frame-relay inverse-arp
end

Wonder whether this is something to do with GNS3 or I am missing anything on
the configuration.

Thank you all in advance
