RE: The difference between voice translation-rule vs.

Hi,

The translation-rule is the old method. The Voice-Translation is new way. Previously the translation rule is applied directly to dial-peer as compared to new method. With Voice-Translation rule, it first applied to Voice Translation Profiles which are applied to Dial-Peers.

The way I see it, Translation Profile gives the advantage of re-usability, for example multiple rules attached to same profile, thus less code in configuration.
