Suitability of 2651XM routers for R&S home lab

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any limitations of using 2651XM routers with maxed
out memory and flash running IOS 12.4(15)T11 versus an 1841 running the
same IOS for the R&S lab?
 
My 2651XM routers are currently running an older IOS due to memory
constraints that do not support EIGRPv6 and I am considering either
upgrading their memory and flash (cheaper and preferred option) or
purchasing 1841's.
