I think they need to re-think the whole process.

At the rate at which things are going, there could be 20 active CCIE tracks
by then.

By then, there would also be CCIE R&S Operations, CCIE Security Operations,
CCIE Voice Operations, CCIE Storage Operations, CCIE Wireless Operations.

And let's not forget the anticipated tracks of CCIE Video, CCIE Data Centre,
and who knows there could be CCIE LAN Switching, CCIE Enterprise Networks,
CCIE Call Centres.

Add to it the fact that all these new tracks would also have their
corresponding "Operations" CCIE too.
