Nick,

At least with mock labs, I started tracking my learning progression with a
spreadsheet on Google Docs. I have the workbook volume number, lab number,
stated completion time (typically 8 hours), and my actual completion time
for each attempt. Then at the end of the row, I list any issues I ran across
along with the date of the attempt.

This way as I either move through a workbook or repeat labs in a workbook, I
can see myself improving in speed and correlate problem areas.
