In any case, I don't remember any HSRP specific MAC aging feature
anywhere. Is there one ?
I saw a somewhat related issue on a 6k, but that was bug related
and had to do with a module, AFAIK.

Being that the problem persisted after changing the group (and MAC),
I did not follow that route any longer.
