Re: IP unnumbered question

Hi Jamal

PPP encap support the exchange IP addresses (IPCP) so with PPP encap you are
able to ping. But with HDLC there is no negotiation of IP address so we are
not aware about the other end address which is in the different subent so
not able to ping.
