solarwinds, like most of the other tools should have a setting to email you,
page you or will log the message and play a sound, used to use that with
HPOV and Spectrum a few years back in a NOC to get the techs to pay
attention to the logging console, in 'near real time' to the logging console
for any and all traps that are configured...
