This is correct, however, I normally receive an error at the beginning of the tftp session, not at 70 percent. I would examine the flash and filesystem.

The latest version of the free Solarwinds TFTP server also supports file sizes up to 4GB and 64-bit OS.

IIRC, some earlier versions of the Solarwinds TFTP seemed to have limitations that the file size had to be less than 20Mb, but don't quote me on that.

I would suspect your tftp server.

Try tftp32 if you are not already.

I must be missing something basic here but it just wont work! Frustrated and
baffled I am left now thinking....hmmm

It starts to copy the file, but somewhere around 70% it just resets and
aborts. And yes, I have enough space on the flash to put the image.
