RE: Voice Translation Problem

Hi West

I tried to configure to use "transformation calling pattern" under CUCM to
change 911 to 9911 (with type subscriber).

As 911 is in type unknown, how to change 911 to type subscriber before enter
to CUCM as I am testing globalized dial-plan with + sign on subscriber
incoming call.

Thanks
Best Regards
David

David,

MGCP will not process your translation profiles as all the signaling is
backhauled to the CM. You can configure this CUCM with a prepend and change
numbering plan and type. If you want to control these functions on the
router, you'll have to switch to H323. It's also not really clear if you're
trying to prepend out the telco or strip.
