I'd go for whichever one you need based on the number of
slots you need. If you don't need the slot difference
between the 6509E and 6513 then go with the 6509E. I'm not
a big fan of the 6500's with VSS since you are limited to
only one supervisor per chassis. The nexus line is a bit
pricer but more capable for reliability and redundancy.
