The Year in Review :-)

Of my 5 years on GS, I believe this was certainly the worst overall for this list that I have witnessed. Why? Well, I personally think it stems from the fact that from time to time WE ALL overlook what is probably the most imperative Posting Guideline that the list owner composed:

"Remain courteous to your fellow list members. Check the tone of your
post to verify it can not be viewed as anything else but courteous
and friendly. Because inflection is not carried across the written
word, a post you view as friendly may be taken by another list
member as a flame."

Hopefully, in the New Year, we are all more observant of this important guideline and the volume of valuable threads sees an increase. Often times I am hesitant to post (even as thick skinned as this list has made me); I can only imagine how non-CCIE subscribers feel.

Interestingly enough, I presume this post will serve as an early litmus test for just how much flaming we must continue to endure.
