Scuba,

To build their rack you will need
6 2811's
        6 WIC-2T's
        8 DB60 to smart-serial back to backs
2 smart serial to smart-serial back to backs
4 3560's
1 older router that will support 2 or more NM modules. I think a 3640 is a
perfect router
        2 NM-4T's
1 NM-2E (This is if you want to dual purpose the frame-switch for a
backbone router)
Lots of 7 ft patch cables.

You can then use the 3640 as your frame-switch and your backbone routers.
You can use VRF's on the 3640 to make it appear as several backbone routers.

That should be all the equipment you need.

I am surprised you are not getting direction from NMC as to how to configure
their topology. But you will need to contact them to get their frame-relay
switch configuration and the BB router configurations. Good Luck in your
studies.

I want to buy 4 3560's and I want to buy 6 2811's with wic-2t's. Can I get
the wic-2t's with rj45 ports so I can use cat 6 to plug them into 3560's ?
If not, how can I connect them to the 3560's ? Do I have to have smart
serial cables ?
