I upgraded couple of 2811s and 2821s with memory from PCs and have no issues.

I believe they take ddr/ddr2

All, has anyone had experience with using 3rd party memory on Cisco 1800
and Cisco 2800 series routers? I need to upgrade memory on these units and
am torn between using Cisco Approved Memory and 3rd party memory.
