RE: Vendor rights

When someone signs up for a class with us, we are always happy to tell
them how many other students are signed up for the class. We also take
into account extenuating circumstances - we've run a one person class
before in CCIE because a student had his lab exam the next week and
couldn't reschedule. Talk to the vendor before signing up and see how
willing they are to work with you. Different vendors have different ways
of dealing with this type of situation. We've had quite a few students
come to us within the past 4-6 months because other vendors canceled
their CCIE classes on them. Just talk to the vendor ahead of time and
iron out the details. You might also want to see if they are a valid
post-secondary facility that has a bond backing them up...that's another
great way to tell if a company is legit. :)

Well i think we have to be fair to the vendor. They try to make their
lesson
mobile by trying to conduct lessons out of their operating area so
people
like me (in asia) have a chance to attending a quality lesson without
having
to invest $5kUSD for traveling and accommodation to the states. They
probably publish the schedule a yr ahead and open for registration,
students
like me will not confirm my booking say 1 month before the scheduled
date,
so its difficult for the vendor to confirm their classes as well. I
think
the vendor are trying to push back the confirmation as close to the
scheduled date as possible so that the last min students can make the
class
happen. But unfortunately humans do not appreicate kindness.
