The problem with the below solution is that it does not address the return
traffic problem nor the convergence time issues for the Internet. You would
also have to implement some type of natting solution, or script a route
policy change (assuming you're running BGP with your providers) to control
the inbound path from the Internet.

If the application is critical to business function you should consider some
type of direct PTP partner type connectivity. You can control path much
better, it will be more stable, and the failover times will be greatly
improved.
