The default Dynagen package works for me on Snow Leopard. There is no different package needed or performance difference. I wonder if it would possible to compile Dynamips in 64-bit on Snow, it wasn't possible on Leopard. That would make it faster.
I would download the latest version of XCode of the Apple website (create a Free developer account) and install it, that installs all necessary packages to compile Dynamips on your local machine. Again it's not necessary as the binary also works fine.
