Hey RB, you might want to check out Embedded Event Manager (EEM).

I've been doing a lot of cool things with it lately and it is extremely powerful and versatile.

Subject: syslog and messages filtering

Dear Experts,

I am practising IP SLA Monitor and OER in the lab.

When the link goes down or any even related to IP SLA happens I want to send
this event to the SYSLOG server. I have enabled
logging trap informational and it is working perfectly. But it is throwing
all the syslog message at this level to SYSLOG server

Is there any possibility available to send only the logs related to IP SLA
and Link up/down status to SYSLOG server and filtering rest all so that
SYSLOG message will be easy to identify the event

Hope you will help me

regards,

RBK
