Correct, I was in a presentation aswell re the ISR G2 and Cisco said the
ISR (G1) will still be around for a while.

Indeed they are not announced yet. Cisco told me in a presentation of
the ISR G2 that the ISR (G1) will NOT be announced EOS or EOL anytime
soon, they will continue to sell and support these boxes for at least 2
years I believe.
