I googled Wide area bonjour and one of the things I noticed as that it's
public DNS which may or may not be a problem. Apparently, it is intended
for public applications or for use over the internet so the DNS servers
are actually internet accessible. Also, when your machine receives the
request it sends a UPNP request and opens up ports on the firewall. Just
an FYI as I'm not sure what kind of environment you're in, but you run the
risk of making Joe's collection of printers and pearl jam mp3's a public
offering ;)
