Typo, please replace CPU with interface - typing without fully engaging
brain.

In my experience the ASR IOS-XE is very good. The ASR-1002 has 4
embedded GE ports, built into the chassis, which is actually a single 4
port SPA that connects to the SIP-10 carrier. Note that the SIP-10 is
only embedded in the ASR-1002 the 1004/1006 have a module you need to
purchase.
