Jonny,

No one is passing the ccie v4.0. Whatever methods a ccie like yourself
used to pass in the past is not working too well right now for this
latest lab exam. I did not ask questions I have not labbed and tested
the answers to. I am posting things all of who are going to face the
ccie lab need to know and know cold before we take the ccie lab exam.
So if you think I know the answer it is because I do. If you think I
am posting trying to piss people off you are mistaken.

I appreciate ccies being on the list as much as anyone but why do
ccies here make ccie students like me feel badly for trying to use
this list as a study group I will never understand.

I am studying and I am sharing things I think need to be discussed. If
everyone thought private vlans was the answer to this, then everyone
over engineered the solution. This results in lost points in the lab
and a few too many of these kinds of things and we have to pay more
money to regrade or retake. I can see where private vlans will work in
the simple question I presesnted but in the scheme of the whole lab it
may not work.

Tony Schaffren recommended the correct solution and did not bat an
eye. Looking at his number he probably used the same workbook I am
using now.
