Hi,
Sorry for the off topic....
I have a scenario where i need to build a companys MPLS cloud across
the Public network .....
MY P Router ---------Public Service Provider(PSP) MPLS network
---------- My P Router
The PSP is providing us with E1 and E3 interfaces and using PseudoWire
to encapsulates all traffic at the ingress interface of their network
as-is and decapsulate the
traffic at the egress interfaces, which preserves Ethernet, VLAN and
MPLS headers fields.
Just to evaluate a liitle more of my network infrastructure, following
are the differnt components used
P (Cisco 7609) --------LAYER 2
ENCRYPTORS-------------ONS15305---------PSP MPLS
Cloud--------ONS15305------LAYER 2 ENCRYPTORS-------------P (Cisco
7609)
I need to know from the design perspective what will be the effect of
using these encryptors.......will any of the advanced MPLS services be
effected by deploying such kind of device......
I have been advised to use the following encryptors,
http://www.senetas.com/products/products/ethernet.htm
The two requirements mentioned on the datasheet of the products are,
7 Maintain MAC addresses of Ethernet frames across the encrypted network
7 No reordering of Ethernet frames across the network
We will be doing some proof of concept testing with the vendor shortly........
Ur comments are welcome..........
