I must recommend the "MPLS Fundamentals" which is the best material I
have ever read about the MPLS. It is really up-to date.

There was a post from someone in the past, stating, that reading first
chapters (excl. traffic engineering, mpoa, ...etc etc) provides
required technical background for CCIE R&S v4.0.
