I am not 100% for certain, but I know routers and switches are totally
different in the architecture. The switches are more hardware based in
ASIC's, where routers depend more on IOS software. From this there is no
global setting on a router for MTU, but rather it is a per interface
setting....Experts, please correct me if I am wrong here.
