One thing you should know about GroupStudy is that anything you
read/learn on here should not be taken as gospel. There will be times
when people really do know what they're talking about, but mostly it's
pure speculation. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference because
everyone speaks (types) so definitively. The relevant group within
Cisco is the only authoritative source for this information and, of
course, they probably won't tell you anything. Why would they?

Anyway, the policy is that 6 months' notice is given before
significant blueprint/lab changes are made so I would expect the same
to happen for the SP update.

Word on the street is the SP changes will be announced this calendar year.

PS: I got my CCIE # between February and October, so I actually have
no idea what I'm talking about. I can't even spell OPSF. You should
contact "Atlanta CCIE" because that guy knows everything.
