RE: CCIE R&S v4.0 results on as good as I hoped

I ain't scared! :) I am prepping for my retake of V4 and plan on it being my last because I pass it!

Jonny - I think it is going to take more than just the vendors adding troubleshooting. In fact, I felt the troubleshooting was not bad at all. I missed it because of a weak area, but otherwise felt it was very doable.

I think that Cisco is going to have to back off the configuration some and that we, the v4 candidates, are going to have to be rock solid in our configuration ability with little to no help from the Doc CD lifeline. At some point, the 2 shall come together and we will see a v4 CCIE! Just my opinion though.

Any gamblers on here? Anybody want to bet on when we will see the first v4 CCIE?

Regards,

Nathan Richie

everyone should still remember the lab is still new.

Chris -- sorry to hear you didn't pass the lab. At least you are changing
focus and going to abapt your study for the new format. Try to stay as
positive as you can and think about what you can do to beat this thing next
time.

I think once the training vendors come out with labs or people start
changing the study stucture to include troubleshooting we will start to see
people passing.
