This will probably not work.

I seem to recall few years back that someone tested this in detail
with a conclusion that it doesn't work. Again, if I recall well, IOS
is unable to assign labels to virtual interfaces spawned from
Virtual-Templates.

I could be wrong, though. I haven't tried it after that old thread.
