Are they connected to each other 7206 (Gi0/1) ==(ospf)== (F5/9) 6509 ? or
are they at different locations connecting to other devices like below
7206 (Gi0/1) === R1 : OSPF, PIM neighbour working fine
6509 (F5/9) === R2 OSPF working, PIM neighbour not.
I assume the 2nd scenario, as you said multicast fine at locationA.
please check the following points
(1) whether multicast enabled on both devices? (2) PIM version configured on
6509 and R2. Also please share the interface configurations, show ip pim
neighbour and the debug output of "debug ip pim hello" which will give more
idea.
