I have looked at GNS3 doc's but I'm still having difficulty with this one.
If anyone has knowledge of how to connect to remote linux dynamips machine
from windows machine running GNS3 application I could use help.
A few questions:
* Is the GNS3 windows all in one package still required for this
type of setup? I have only dnld binary.
* Is 'preferences' used?
* Do I need cygwin or ssh client if current connection is via ssh to
dynamips/dynagen? Or allow service, different port connection on linux -
how?
o I have dynamips in /lab/7200 directory
o Telnet to console ports for dynamips routers works fine presently.
* Test button on 'preferences' = failed to start.
* Under 'IOS Images and hypervisors' Image = /lab/IOS/c3725. with
'use hypervisor manager' checked
* Under 'External hypervisors' tab
o Host = 192.168.1.11 (This points to Linux machine)
o Port = 54000 (which I use normally without GNS3)
o Base UDP = 10000
o Base Console = 2000
o Working directory = /lab/7200/dynamips/dynamips-0.2.8-RC2
* Do I need to use C:GNS3\dynamips-start.cmd for this type of setup?
