Look at it this way:-

You read a 1000 page book (hypothetical) and someone asks you 100 questions
and you need only 80 to pass. You error margin is huge i.e. u can get 20
questions wrong or not don't answer 20 questions that u either dont know or
r not sure of.

Now if u r given enormous amount of literature and anything and everything
is a fair game and then u r asked only 4 questions out of which u need 3
correct else u fail. The dynamics change. U now have error margin of getting
1 wrong and the rest three that u answer should be correct not by your
interpretation but by what CISCO expects as an answer or is convincing to
the proctor.

If you know your stuff well and it's ur lucky day u will sail through the
OEQs else u fail the 8hr exam in first 20 minutes.

You win points if u know ur stuff well and possibly answer all 4 correctly
leaving margin of one question to interpretation and come close to passing.
U still need you configuration portion correct.

You answer more than one wrong and u fail entire lab even if u score 100% in
configuration portion.

In my opinion it is how you look at it. On the exam day u need so many
things to go right in your favour to come out with a Pass. It's easier to
fail.

If someone wants to correct my thought process please do so.
