I didn't mean what I said as any sort of condemnation. It really is just
chatter. I think all the trainers here are former or current
engineers/consultants. I get alot of blanket advertisements and spam from
some of the other groups I belong to so it really is remarkable that the
people who are advocating one product or another have not ruined it as
they have so many other lists. Sorry if I sounded harsh. I think I've
been studying too much lately.

Sorry if sales chatter lightens the day for me...us... BUT I AM studying
for my CCIE and use this forum for what it offers. There is great info
here and that is the focus. I hope to have numbers after my name some
day!! And I need all the CCIE RS training help I can get.
Thanks,

It never ceases to amaze me how we manage to keep the sales chatter here
just below the threshold of annoying after all these years.

Well if you call limited time a year from now then OK but please if
something is working why would it go away. Also... you can sign up now
and you do not have to use that free retake within the promo period.
HMMMM choices....
FREE Retake - YES
FREE content updates - YES (if needed - see below)
Let's focus on the technical aspects of this program instead of the
pretty part - that is why we are all here. The content is perfectly
aligned and targeted to the blueprint - I imagine if a company is
publishing an update - there is something inconsistent in the content
and it needs to be changed. Shouldn't it be right in the first place?
Here's another point - since the program is targeted - it is designed to
get you through your CCIE in LESS than a year. Your CCIE shouldn't take
your life away.
FYI - I will match IPE course prices... :)

Dawn -
If a 360 student fails - they get a retake of the lab for free
(correct me if I'm wrong - but that's a "limited time only" offer -
and will be going away soon). However, if they don't pass - they
obviously need additional assistance or training - so I'm wondering if
there are free retakes for 360 students (and are there free updates to
materials if / when the blueprint changes?.....I honestly don't know
the answer - if so - (if 360 students get a free retake in a class)
that's awesome! If not - the second lab attempt could be
worthless...unless - of course - they buy another product (maybe grey
market) to get the over that hump.... ;-). (kidding - of course!)
Also - I'd have to argue that some grey market options are
cheaper - your assumption that the 2 options (360 vs non-360) cost the
same is not accurate.
