Ahh.
My thought is mentoring provides great help for up and coming. But I
myself question a varity of things:
* Length of certification
* How long did it take to get their certification
* 'Real-World' experience
* Teaching credentatials
* Personality
* Track record on successful students
Truth be told, if you dropped me in a lab tomorrow morning (with even
24 hours of cramming), I might have problems. And I have been doing
this for over 15 years.
So there would need to be a strict guideline and prerecs that would
need to be followed. Otherwise, we'll find people entering our field,
creating havoc, bad reputations and worst of all invalidating all our
hard work.
