Some people have logged it in the past and 500-800 hours doing
full-scale labs seems to have been common. However it is hard to say.
Recently some people say it only took a few months and a couple of
hours a day. My math produced about 360 hours for the person that said
that.
It depends on what skills you bring with you before you get started.
Most of us may have some skill but it is usually not on par for the
CCIE Lab and the level required. I can answer a lot of questions here
on this list but I am probably not even close to being a CCIE yet.
Others pass the CCIE Lab and cannot answer basic questions for the lab
or labs they passed. I don't pretend to understand it either. It just
is that way. Take your time and learn the technologies. Remember this
is not a race. It is only a test.
