Valid question. General Answer #1 to any sort of doubt like that is:
Ask the Proctor! Approach Proctor, explain the methods you think of
employing and ask him/her if they had any preference. Don't go and ask
"how do I do this", rather, "I can solve this question using X, Y or Z
- do you have any preference amongst them ".
Now, that said, General Answer #2 applies: Do what you are told! If WB
gives some implication for one solution (do not use route-maps, for
example), you know what to do. It is very important to read your WB
and understand the question. If you don't, see GA#1.
