Ping drops

when i try to ping from A to C by 1500 byte with repeat count of 10000 the
success rate is 98% and sometimes 97%.Is it something i have to go deep to
troubleshoot or it is normal???? and what troubleshooting can i do for such
situation,The MTU configured on interface is 1520.

Success rate is 98 percent (986/1000), round-trip min/avg/max = 1/1/16 ms

The devices A and B is 6500 switch with negligble traffic flowing through
it.
