network command used in OSPF is not to advertise the routes but it enables
OSPF on the interface and will advertise what every network is enabled on
those interfaces...e.g
if you are using /28 net work on your interfaces then /24 will enable OSPF
on multiple interfaces.. and also dont forget that you can give subnet mask
instead of wild card mask, although saved configurations will revert back to
wild card style.
