Thanks for the clarification. Having never recertified myself, I have never
had the need nor desire to investigate. I would have looked into it for
myself when the time came, but just thought I'd ask for the clarification
since it seemed there were two opposite things being said. Why should I
know something that I have never done nor had to be concerned with? Being
an instructor doesn't necessarily mean you know every policy in the CCIE
program. If I ever had a student that wanted to know, I'd simply find out.
