OT: Cisco IPS on vmware with windows as the host system

Hello all,

I need help! I have been trying to install Cisco IPS 4215 on vmware but
without success. I followed the blog on hacki forum for this but my host
system is windows xp service pack3. The OS I am using for the vmware
emulation is IPS-K9-r-1.1-a-5.1-6-E1.iso . I edited the .vmx file specified
by the blog. The vmware started but it can see any valid OS image to but.

I don't know if anybody has tried this stuff before?
