Hi,
I would agree that running natively under ubuntu, you certainly can support the number of routers that you require.
I am having an issue with my setup, I am running GNS3. I was able to create my lab, load all of my devices, I saved the project and the .net file. The problem, comes in that, when I try to reopen the .net file, and project, it looks like it opens, but it does not. Is this a normal behavior, or what am I doing wrong. Will switches be supported in this scenario?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
David

GNS3 is just a front-end to dynagen/dynamips. What you are really
wondering is whether dynamips will perform well under VMware. The
answer is 'no'.
Install Ubuntu "separately".
