Yasir,

That doesn't mean that your answers are wrong - I was told that most OEQ
could be answered with a few words; sentences typically not required.
If your answer is correct upon a re-grade, I'm sure it will be marked as
such. However, the OEQ is still being graded manually at the moment, so
I wouldn't put too many apples in the basket for a re-grade and a pass
when it comes to OEQ; but you never know. People do make mistakes, and
it's possible your initial OEQ answer(s) weren't graded properly. The
only way to find out, is, with a re-grade! Let us know what happens, and
good luck!

thanks,

Brad Ellis

Hi Brad/ Anthony,

Thank you for your replies.

Brad,

I think this could be the problem. I did write 2 - 3 line on atleast 2
out of the 4 OEQs but I am pretty sure i answered them correctly. My
question is will these answers be looked into in the re-check or will
they again be rejected because they were not answered in a couple of
words.

Regards,
Yasir.

Yasir,

When a re-grade is processed, both the OEQ portion and the lab portion
are looked at. If you wrote a book to answer the OEQ portion of the
exam, odds are you didn't get it. Typically, the answer the proctors are
looking for are only a few words. Just a thought. If you think you
really did answer the OEQ correctly and your lab was mis-graded, then
requesting a regrade would make sense IMHO.

Hi Guys,

I need a suggestion.

I appeared in the CCIE lab exam on the 5th of October in Dubai. Passed
the
lab portion with a clear margin however flunked the OEQs. All of us who
appeared that day failed in the OEQ section. I'm almost a hundred
percent
sure that I answered these questions right. Is there any use trying to
get the lab rechecked? Are the OEQs rechecked at all because I am
already
pass in the Lab section. Is it worth the effort and money or shall I
just
move on and try preparing for the next version of the LAB?.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Yasir
