Putty SSH tunnel and Remote Desktop

All,

I have the SSH server and RDP server running on the same box behind the
firewall. Everything works smoothly if I use a PC outside the firewall with
Putty to SSH tunnel to the SSH server first then RDP a third PC behind the
firewall.

The problem is, when I use Putty to SSH to the SSH server, then RDP to the SSH
server itself, my RDP session hangs and the SSH tunnel is down.

I have tried all different ways trying to make it working including diffrerent
source port for 3389, or 127.0.0.254......still not working...

Anyone sees the same issue before?
