thanks i was able to set it to the factory default, but my settings key still
not responding

Hold down the # key, plug the phone in (either direct power or PoE), wait for
the lights to flash in sequence, then hit 123456789*0#, then you can either
keep the network config or not. The phone should reset and then download its
code again.
