Hello,
I passed my lab on October 1st in Brussels. It was a long way I had to
go, but at the end, I did it.
I startet in 2007 with the written exam and needed several attempts for
the lab, but I never thought of giving up. Learn the technologies,
practice little labs in dynamips and then start with the full labs from
the workbooks. Learning by full labs is very difficult.
A good strategy is the key to passing the exam. You have to manage your
time, do not spend to much time on one task and work around a problem,
even if this costs you points. But you cannot pass without a working
layer 2 and layer 3 network.
I finished one hour before the end and had time to verify. This saved me
a few points, because for example I put the right configuration on the
wrong router.
Material used:
Routing TCP/IP I + II
BGP Design and Implementation
QoS Exam Guide
Many other books
INE Workbooks 1, 2 and 3
INE Class on Demand
INE 12 Day Bootcamp
INE Core Knowledge Simulation
Cisco Documentation
Without the bootcamp in September I would not have been able to pass the
lab. Scott and Anthony are fantastic and can explain in great detail.
Good luck to all,
Wilhelm Boeddinghaus
