Hi All,

I am trying to understand about BGP stale routes, when I went through the
Cisco DOC cd command reference,I got through the below definition/meaning

 "

(stale)

Indicates that the following path for the specified autonomous system is
marked as "stale" during a graceful restart process
"

I am understanding that the BGP learned routes would be put in stale during
a graceful restart process,is that means it is like holding the route but
not advertising as bgp active routes to his neighbors and also considering
inactive for self.Is this something manually configured ..Kindly enlighten
with the concept or even reference to a link ,that even would be great.

Thanks for the help
