ravi, we were talking about running dynamips on ubuntu, not about moving
your preferred OS to ubuntu, that's a different discussion and it can take a
lot of emails, OT as well.
linux+dynamips+dynagen is a well known and very stable platform, everything
will works as expected and you won't have to face strange and "impossible to
troubleshoot" vista's issues.
the learning curve for doing this it's pretty straight, fast, and risk-free.

i have also a virtualbox machine with windowsXP and secureCRT, i use it for
mock labs, in order to reproduce a sort of real lab experience ;)
