I would like to first and foremost thank God for this amazing gift. Praise
God. Jesus is always with you. I like to think about the poem "footprints in
the sand" when times are tough and when times are good.
I would like to thank Narbik, Bruce and Val, INE, IPE , Paul Borghese, Joe
Astorino, Bill Burns, Jean Morlan, groupstudy and my family for helping me
along the way. Thank you everyone.
This was my second attempt at the lab.
I have been working towards CCIE certification since 2004. I attended a CCIE
boot camp by Paul Borghese back in 2005. I went to NMC's two bootcamps last
year. Where I was part of the CIERS 360 pilot. Know your options!!
I heard so many good things about Narbik's bootcamp. I just had to go see
what everyone was talking about. I took vaction and I went. Narbik's
bootcamp was the missing link for me. With his workbooks and learning
strategy I started to address my weak area's with a systematical approach
which worked great for me. I think Narbik and Cisco 360 is a winning
combination. I remember one day during his bootcamp after everyone left the
room he must of noticed I was confused about a topic and he came over to me
and told me he will be at my side through out the process, always available
to answer questions and help me along the way. Sometimes I think he might
have thought I was a pain in the butt. But he has always been there for me.
If you have a problem with the lab or otherwise he is there for you. Thank
you Narbik and God bless you.
I used INE and IPE's quizzers, polylabs(beta) and graded labs. They helped
me with task interperation and with time management. I was upset at the
score reports but I learned valuable lessons with each one. Especially from
self created mistakes!
For the last 16 months the time investment was very significant. I studied
3-4 hours after work everyday. On my weekends and days off I studied 8-12
hours per day. I missed most of my newborns first year. She started crawling
while I was away at one boot camp and walking while I was at another boot
camp. We have another baby due any day now and it looked like I was going to
miss that also. But thankfully I will be at my wife's side when my son is
born. I missed countless family functions. I stopped doing things that I
loved to do so I can study instead. I had no time for them. Studying took
over everything and it was my only focus. My job was outsourced so I used
the time off to study longer and harder, often times studying over 16 hours
a day and sleeping only 4-5 hours. I would lose track of what day it was.
But the end result is worth it.
I highly recommend Narbik's bootcamp. Narbik is a good guy. He bends over
backwards to help his students out. Follow the process and it will work out
for you.
